Early Amazing Antique England 1912 Cadbury Original Glass Wood Display Cabinet

AMAZING 1912 CADBURY ORIGINAL GLASS AND WOOD CONFECTIONERS DISPLAY CABINET. Up for sale is this amazing old. We've read that these display units were supplied to general stores to promote Cadbu. This would have sat on top of the general store counter at eye level near the cash register to maximize advertising.

The front rolled glass is acid etched with the Cadbury's chocolate brand name. The frame is what appears to be mahogany and all glass pieces are original as near as we can tell. The front glass has two scratches in it which we show in the pictures. The two doors at the back slide open and closed with ease. On the bottom wood piece, against the table, you can see the wood has "Cadbury's Bourneville" stamped in it.

It's also stamped on the very bottom (underside) of it as you can see in the pictures. Also underneath you can see some hand writing.

Part of that writing says "1-17-12" which we anticipate to mean January 17, 1912. We don't know if that's when it was made or if it was made in the late 1800's.

Inside there is one glass shelf supported on little corner supports. The bottom "shelf" might be milk glass or maybe it's marble, we're not sure. The cabinet measures 31.5" W x 28" H x 17 D. This is everything you'd expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! Please see photos for accurate detail and description.

The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It's a great old display cabinet! It's such a nice cabinet that we'd hate to see something happen to it. We regularly put up new items so check out our other items. We will do our best to answer your questions.

We will handle them on a case-by-case basis. We will do the same. We couldn't sell anything if it wasn't for you and the time you have taken to spend looking at our items. As a very small business we strive to keep you as our customer!

We work hard to describe them correctly and in detail (note that the pictures are part of the description) with all flaws (if any) exposed.
